Vok Baths
From outdated to immersive. Vök Baths rebuilt as a premium floating-pool experience that feels like stepping into the journey itself.
Vök Baths is Iceland's only floating hexagonal geothermal pools on a glacial lake—a completely unique experience. But their WordPress website felt outdated and didn't match the brand they wanted to build. It lacked immersion, minimalism, and the sense of entering a curated journey. Visitors couldn't feel the magic before they arrived.
The Why

The Result
We rebuilt Vök Baths from WordPress to Duda as a minimal, immersive destination website. Every design choice—from the cinematic looping video hero to the interactive experience tour to the crystalline blue-white palette—makes visitors feel like they're stepping into the journey before they book.

Key Features
- Signature branding: Two teardrop shapes in sky blue and cobalt—reading as water droplets, the floating hexagonal pools, and the blend of hot/cold experiences. Vibrant sky blue accents, pure white backgrounds, full-bleed photography—restrained and modern
- Full-bleed looping video hero: Cinematic footage of rainfall showers, ice crystals, steam, aerial pools—meditative and immersive
- interactive "Experience Tour": Click any of seven activities and the background photograph instantly transitions to show that exact experience. It's a menu, slideshow, and immersive journey in one elegant component
- Three-tier pricing with clear hierarchy: Essential, Enhanced, Ultimate—with aerial photography, feature lists, and blue pricing
- Direct booking integration: Real-time availability engine (booking.vokbaths.is)
- Design philosophy: Cold clarity meeting warm immersion. The site whispers rather than shouts. Every detail—italic emphasis, animated chevron, understated button, circular crops—reinforces a single sensation: you're not just booking a bath. You're entering a journey.
What Our Clients Say
As a luxury spa, we needed a website that felt just as elevated and immersive as the actual experience. But we also needed to be able to manage it ourselves without hiring someone to update content. Gabby designed something that captures the atmosphere perfectly—it's atmospheric without being complicated. Guests get drawn in by the visuals, and our team can update everything easily. Best of both worlds.
